"Those
who lose dreaming are lost"
Australian Aboriginal proverb.
| Magic
of Mush. Once upon a time, a magical story began.
A dream land evolved from the minds and imagination
of a boy and a girl |
|
They
thought, they talked, they listened to each other, and
they learned a lot.
They learned that they could tell each other anything
they wanted to in 'The Land of Mush'. |
|
| They
loved each other even though they had never met. |
|
One
day they decided it was time to leave Mush and meet
in Real Life.
They were very excited about the changes that were happening
moving from the warm lushness of Mush to a new place
unknown. |

Brisbane in Queensland, Australia (Aus = "Oz") is a
city of 1.7 million people.
Mik's first night in Oz: at Kangaroo House. (A very recommendable
place!)
I had not told Deb that I arrived 48 hours before scheduled landing
time.
Kangaroo Room No 5.
Entrance to Deb's cybercafe.
Touch-down, entering RL: The bench where we met the first time,
Thursday at noon.
Discovering the magic of the Land of Oz - Sunset on Saturday 17th.
Shadowlands revisited.
Missing the sound here! ...Deb dancing to some loud psy trance
from the newly installed subwoofer stereo system of Pergaretto
Pulsar Shuttle 2.
Tropical bird life and a creek right outside the windows. Tapas
lunch on the porch at Deb's house, Sunday
Sunday at 18:00 - Deb has a rehersal for a dance performance she's
recently been invited to take part in. (I do some video
filming there which she'll be using for training purposes).
Monday at 9:00. Gone to Deb's cybercafe to check my email. Funny
to be here, instead of Deb. Pleasant to be back online for a moment.
People are writing from home, sending me curious questions - eager
to hear some news. And... an email from a very well-known address
is already waiting for me. Already. It is only an hour ago I said
goodbye to her in RL.
I think it explains somehow what there is to say about this weekend
of ours here, better than I could ever do it. Excerpt:

Good morning!
Quick message before work. Wow, such a wonderful weekend that
was! Swimming
in the ocean and the pool. Lazing on the sand like turtles :-).
Looking into your eyes. Dancing, loving, playing, smiling, driving,
walking.....looking for taxis :-), award winning kisses, platypus
protesting, drinking good wine and food.....talking and listening
and learning and loving some more. (...)

Garden of Eden: This is where we had lamb barbeque last night,
and bacon&egg this morning.
Deb lives in a beautiful
new house, six years old, and extremely modern and comfortable.
The area reminds me very much of the film 'American Beauty'. With
neighbours doing weightlifting in the garage, washing their cars,
and so on.
Deb on the way
to work, Tuesday morning.
This is where Deb works...
...up on 17th floor.
