This is our beach shack at Neptune's Point, Palolem.

We have a wonderful view of the whole bay.

Every morning we take a walk along one of the beaches, this is Colomb Beach, Patnem. It is much quieter than Palolem and the water is cleaner.

Palolem Beach in the early morning.

It is so laid back.

Not too difficult to find a place on the sand to check emails.

There is built-in air con with a pleasant cool breeze all day long here on our verandah.

But it is nice here too.

Plenty of space to throw a frisbee.

Or build a sand castle.

Mik about to head off into the sunset with me.

There are others at this rocky point with the same idea as us. We're enjoying the peaceful surroundings and front row for the sunset.

And then, dinner time.

We choose the four tiger prawns on the right.

A group who are on their 10th day of isolation practising Vispassana on the beach.

We have Patnem Beach fairly much to ourselves.

Mik caught working.

Self portrait – a “kodak moment”!.

Breakfast at home (Neptune's Point).

On Saturday we leave our Honeymush peninsula in Palolem, and head north.

Part 2 - Goa

This is a dream destination realised for us: meeting somewhere half way between Australia and Denmark, under palm leaves and a wide blue sky.
