Stopping by a couple of temples on the way... This one is Shankar Durga Temple.

This photograph is entitled “Mik in India”.

So is this one.

Our first stop in the North is Anjuna. By the look of the signs we begin to think we have crossed into Israel.

Vagator Beach looks quite different to what we had imagined. We climb the hill in the background to find the ruins of a fort.

Mik admiring the view from the only doorway in the fort.

This is Ingo's Saturday Night Bazaar. It is almost like a festival with so many colourful stalls, music and food.

Our first purchase for the heir to the Mild Records' fortune.

Bubba is three and a half months old now.

...And growing fast!

This is where we are staying in Calangute. A fully self contained house, only a short distance from package tourism central.

Enjoying the afternoon sunshine with a cold drink from our fridge and a newspaper.

On Tuesday evening we see a wonderful classical music and dance performance at the Kerkan Centre in South Calangute.

We are now staying at Mandrem Beach Resort and our home here looks out onto a beautiful river with many birds and other animals.

Morning walk along Mandrem Beach to salute the sun!

Some of us have a lot of energy in the morning!

We find a favourite breakfast spot on Ashvem Beach called 'Change your mind cafe'.

Honeymush heart in the sand.

That's Deb on Mandrem Beach.

South of Goa, we head off for a adventure to Gokarna and some even more remote beaches. We walk over these rocks and along cliff sides to Paradise Beach, which is there in the distance.

Om Beach is pretty.

This is one of the two main streets of Gokarna, a town which is still very traditional and a place where thousands go for a holy hindu pilgrimage each year.

16 weeks today. Looking round!

Back where we started in Palolem, except now in the jungle a little further from the beach.

Part 3 - the North of Goa

After a week under the palm trees in Palolem we decided to go north and see other parts of Goa.
